Gyeonggi-do Youth Gap Year Program Qualifications

The Gyeonggi-do Youth Gap Year Program is a program that provides opportunities for change through challenges and attempts that allow young people to stop work or school for a certain period of time to explore what they want to do and overcome their fear of failure. Eligible applicants are young adults between the ages of 19 and 34, and can apply individually or as a team.

 

Not only students on leave of absence or unemployed youths, but also university students who can secure project time during vacations or weekends, and youths who wish to change jobs can participate.

 

[Qualifications for Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program]

Residing in Gyeonggi-do as of the announcement date
Age: 19 to 34 years old (as of January 1, 1988 to December 31, 2004)
A young man who wants to redesign his life and take on new challenges and attempts
Even those who have participated in similar projects in the past can participate. However, those participating in or planning to participate in projects that overlap with the 2023 Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program are excluded.

 

Program admission eligibility

The application period for the Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program is from May 12, 2023 (Thursday) to May 31, 2023 (Wednesday) 17:00, and the mobile application method is to apply online through the Gyeonggi Provincial Job Foundation integrated application system, ‘Jababa Apply’ and can be received. You can apply as a team or as an individual, but if you apply as an individual, it can be organized as a team after consulting with the operation headquarters.

 

And if you apply as a team, all team members must meet the application qualifications, and the team composition is recommended to consist of 4 people, but more or less than 4 people are also possible.

The total recruitment scale is 600 people, and we are recruiting 300 people for the 1st term and 300 people for the 2nd term. The 1st period will start in July, and the 2nd period will start from August, and you can apply for only one of the 1st and 2nd periods.

 

Mobile application for the program

If selected as a participant in the Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program, they will go through orientation, [PART 1. Exploration and Discovery] for about 3 weeks, [PART 2. Challenge and Change] for about 12 weeks, and participate in the program according to the operating schedule, and after completing the project, 11 From the end of the month to the beginning of December, the results will be shared through the ‘Performance Sharing Meeting’.

 

At the end of the [PART 1. Exploration and Discovery] process, the participants submit the completed project plan for each team to the Steering Committee for interim inspection. The amount of support for project execution is based on KRW 3 million per person, and up to KRW 5 million is provided as actual expenses depending on the results of the interim inspection.

 

The amount supported cannot be used for entertainment expenses, speculation, or areas that may cause social controversy, and the cost of the project can only be used in Korea.
