I often use Naver Map to find locations and the shortest route, but did you know that you can easily reserve KTX and SRT train tickets on Naver Map?
[How to reserve train tickets with Naver Map]
Go to the Naver Map app.
If you enter the departure and arrival locations, the shortest distance and transportation method will be displayed. If you have KTX or SRT as a transportation method, you can easily reserve train tickets on Naver without having to go to the Korail website separately.
Enter the departure and arrival stations, date and time of departure, and number of people, and click Check Schedule. Then, check the train for the desired time slot and click [Naver Reservation] right next to it.
Select one of the seating classes between general and special.
Check the desired car and remaining seats, and then select the desired seat. Then, after selecting the seat, press the [Pay] button.
Enter the reservation customer information. Then, enter the 5-digit password. Agree to all of the personal information provision and collection below and click Confirm. If you can receive discount coupons and national merit discounts, enter them and check the final payment amount.
This payment can only be made with Naver Pay. Cash payment or card payment is not possible. Instead, if you have registered your card with Naver Pay, you can easily pay with a card. Also, please note that Naver Points are not accumulated just because you purchased the train ticket with Naver Pay. If you click on Easy Payment, you can easily pay for the ticket on Naver Map.
A card text message has arrived. The payment is shown as paid by Korea Railroad Corporation.
You can check the ticket and receipt at the same time as payment. I was curious so I went into the KTX app to check, but since it was not purchased through this app, the ticket cannot be confirmed on the KTX app.
Another great tip you can check on Naver Map! If you scroll down, it will show you which restaurants are near the location you searched for. If you click the See More Nearby button below, you can see more restaurants.
There is also a [Places to Visit] menu on the right side of the top menu bar. It recommends places to visit near the searched location, so even if you haven’t planned a separate trip, it’s very convenient to use because it tells you about hot places, good restaurants, and places to visit nearby.
