Obtaining babysitter certification
The bassist certification is divided into written and practical parts, and you must pass both to obtain it.
① Introduction to Infant and Toddler Education (25 questions)
② Infant play guidance and education (25 questions)
③ Infant Psychology (25 questions)
④ Infant safety management (25 questions)
A total of 4 subjects are written exams, and all are multiple-choice.
The test time is 100 minutes, and the difficulty level is not that high, so anyone can pass the exam if they prepare diligently for 1-2 months.
In the case of passing criteria, an average score of 4 subjects out of 100 points per subject must be over 60 points. However, even if the average score is over 60 points, if one subject receives less than 40 points, you will be given a grade of failure.
It would be a good idea to prepare with the mindset of getting at least 60 points or higher in all subjects.
① Babysitter practical training (in the case of the second practical exam, it can be replaced with job training)
If you pass the first written exam, you can take job training, which literally covers content that can be used in practice. The training lasts 8 hours and can be completed in one day.
In the case of practical subjects, they can be replaced with job training, so if you pass the first exam, you can think that you have almost passed.
(Due to the coronavirus situation, 6 hours of distance learning can be replaced)
※Eligibility for babysitter certification
Any Korean citizen over the age of 19 can apply, and there are no restrictions on age, education, or experience.
Test management and application are conducted by the Korea Qualifications Development Institute, which grants public confidence in qualifications by granting national recognition to excellent private qualifications.
