Apple products out of warranty
Owners of iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac, Apple TV, and other products must use Apple service providers, including Apple Service Centers and independent repair providers, for at least five years from the time Apple last supplied the product for sale. You can receive service and parts through Apple, and costs will be incurred for after-sales service of Apple products that are out of warranty.
The period of service and parts availability may be extended by statutory provisions or up to 7 years, subject to parts availability. Additionally, iMac laptops may be eligible for an extended battery repair period of up to 10 years from the time the product was last offered for sale, subject to parts availability.
