There are as many people who fall into type 2 as there are type 1, so we will take the time to organize them further.

What is the National Employment Support System?
It is a system that provides employment support services to people who want to get a job, and also supports the minimum income for living for low-income job seekers.
The National Employment Support System is divided into Type 1 and Type 2.
The conditions are different for each type, so please check carefully and apply for the type that suits you!

National Employment Support System Type 2 Target
Support target
15 to 69 years old
Among those who are unable to find a job despite having the ability and willingness to work, those whose income and assets do not meet the requirements are eligible for support.
Application requirements
Specific groups: marriage immigrants, at-risk youth, special workers with monthly income of less than 2.5 million won, small business owners, etc.
Youth: Job seekers aged 18 to 34
Middle-aged: Job seekers aged 35 to 69 with an income below 100% of the median income
Other than these conditions, assets and employment experience are irrelevant. Income is irrelevant except for middle-aged people.
In other words, all young people can apply for Type 2!
※Special groups: recipients of basic livelihood security/non-home residents such as the homeless/North Korean defectors/applicants for credit recovery/marriage immigrants and foreign children of marriage immigrants/at-risk youth/young people who have given up on seeking employment/female household heads/persons of national merit/specialized workers/construction Daily workers/unemployed workers affected by FTA/unmarried mothers (fathers), single parents/teenage parents, etc.
There are more people included in specific classes, so check the National Employment Support System website for more specific classes!

National Employment Support System Type 2 Support Details
Type 2 receives ‘employment activity expenses’ and ‘employment support services’.
Employment activity expenses are supported by an allowance (up to 284,000 won per month) for up to 6 months to ease the burden of living during the period of participation in vocational training.
