When enlisting, it is common to enlist with your ID and country love card. However, as mentioned above, in case of loss before enlistment, if you apply for reissuance at the training center after enlistment with only your ID card at the training center, you can get a new love card before the day you leave the training center.
For reference, there are Army Training Center, Marine Corps, Air Force Education Command, and Navy Education Command where you can reissue the Love of Country Card.
In general, the Ministry of National Defense adjusts the monthly salary of soldiers in even-numbered years, and from this year, the monthly salary based on the soldier sergeant is set at 540,000 won, exceeding 500,000 won. Two years later, in 2022, the sergeant’s monthly salary is expected to rise to 670,000 won.
