노인장기요양등급Applicants for long-term care recognition must submit a doctor’s opinion by the day before the rating evaluation committee reviews the applicant. However, if the National Health Insurance Corporation determines that a person lives in an island or remote area or has significant mental, physical, or mobility issues and is notified as excluded from submitting a doctor’s opinion, the doctor’s opinion will not be submitted.
For seniors over 65 years of age (including those with geriatric diseases under 65 years of age who submit a medical certificate at the time of application)
If a doctor’s opinion is issued pursuant to a request for issuance of a doctor’s opinion issued by the Corporation, the applicant must pay 20% of the total issuance cost (10% for medical benefit recipients, exempt for national basic recipients).
Even if a doctor’s opinion is issued without a request for issuance of a doctor’s opinion and the cost is 100% borne by the person himself/herself, the following persons will be responsible for paying the remaining costs excluding the costs to be borne by the person himself/herself.
You can request a refund from the Corporation for the cost.
1. If you re-apply for long-term care recognition and are determined to be a beneficiary
2. If the grade is changed after applying for a grade change
3. Those who applied for long-term care recognition for the first time or for renewal (in this case, those under 65 years of age must be confirmed to have a geriatric disease to be able to claim)
