Example of how to calculate without a calculator
Existing purchase amount – 10,000 won x 100 shares = 1,000,000 won
Average unit price – 1,000,000 won ÷ 100 shares = 10,000 won
Additional purchase amount – KRW 5,000 x 100 shares = KRW 500,000
Total number of shares – 100 shares + 100 shares = 200 shares
Total average unit price – (KRW 1,000,000 + KRW 500,000) ÷ 200 shares = KRW 7,500
