When applying for various licenses and permits, such as submitting a criminal record document to the relevant agency when applying for a job, participating as an executive of a cooperative or social cooperative, participating as an executive when establishing other corporations, or reporting a quasi-investment consulting business, there is a procedure to check the criminal records of the founder (representative) and executives.
Of course, the criminal record check is conducted by the relevant competent authority when the applicant writes the consent form for the provision of administrative information joint use, but you should check in advance whether there is a criminal record or not, or if there is a criminal record, how many years have passed, etc. in order for the work to proceed smoothly.
For example, if you are preparing to establish a non-profit organization such as a social cooperative and blindly believe that the executives participating have no criminal records, and later find out that they have, you will waste several months of time. (The same goes for quasi-investment consulting businesses.)

This method is not a document that you submit to another place, and it is for your own confirmation, so it is not effective when submitted to a government office, etc. These days, government offices receive a consent form for joint provision of administrative information, and the relevant government office directly checks the criminal records~!
Search for issuance of criminal record report
Search for “Issuance of criminal record report” on portal sites such as Naver, Dax, etc. or enter “https://crims.police.go.kr/main.do” directly in the address bar, and the following site will appear. Go to the criminal record search site
Please click Login!
Simple authentication login
You can click Simple Authentication and log in using the method that is convenient for you. I used KakaoTalk authentication and a wallet, so I used KakaoTalk. You can easily log in without a separate membership registration in 1-2 minutes!
Click “Confirm investigation data table contents”
Request inquiry
Click “Personal criminal investigation history (integrated)” for the report type,
and “Includes expired sentences, etc.” for the inquiry purpose.
Write application details
If you log in using simple authentication, all general information will be automatically entered, but you can check and select the address, phone number, and police station where you are from.
When you have completed all the writing, click “Next.”
Apply for issuance of criminal record
When you click “Next”, the following screen will appear.
After checking the notes, enter your name in the applicant section and click “Next” again at the bottom.
Application confirmation
When you click Next in the application for issuance, the following screen will appear. Check again to make sure it’s correct, and click “Apply” at the bottom. (Almost there~)
Report printing waiting screen
When you click Apply, the report (criminal record confirmation) printing screen will appear. Click “Print report” at the bottom.
Criminal investigation history report issuance complete
You can print your criminal record and investigation history report on the screen below.
As you can see, I don’t have the relevant data~^^ (I’m very law-abiding.,…)
Ps. The above criminal record search report is for the purpose of verification by individuals who cannot submit it to public institutions, etc., and if the report is used for a purpose other than the purpose of the search, both the person who obtained it and the person who used it will be subject to imprisonment for up to 2 years or a fine of up to 20 million won in accordance with Article 10, Paragraph 2 and Paragraph 2 of the Act on the Effectiveness of Criminal Procedure, so please be especially careful!!
