In order to obtain a level 2 social worker certification, the first task is to complete social welfare major courses. If you graduated from the Department of Social Welfare, there will be no problem, but if not, you can complete the course through the credit bank system.
You must complete a total of 14 social welfare-related subjects (42 credits). It consists of 10 required major courses (30 credits) + 4 elective courses. You must complete all major courses and only 4 elective courses.

Those who wish to obtain a social worker certification through the Credit Bank System must register as a learner with the National Lifelong Education Promotion Agency before applying for a degree. You only have to do it once.
1) National Lifelong Education Promotion Agency (http://www.cb.or.kr) membership registration and application
2) Period: Application available in January, April, July, and October
3) Required materials: 1,000 won fee per credit, high school or university graduation certificate, 1 copy of resident registration

– Attendance rate: 80% or more of total attendance, 100% progress completed
You can earn credits by working hard according to the completion conditions of each credit bank system.
If you have registered as a learner and have earned a total of 42 credits by diligently completing your credits, you can apply for a degree at the National Lifelong Education Promotion Agency.
Degrees are awarded twice a year, in February and August. Please note that the award ceremony is held only in February.
