숨은 정부지원금[Digital Today Reporter Moon Jeong-eun] Toss uses the public data portal of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to provide a ‘find hidden government subsidies’ service.
Toss implemented the ‘Subsidy 24’ service within its own application (app) rather than on the Government 24 site. Subsidy 24 is a service that allows you to check and apply for government benefits you can receive.
Users can check the government benefits they can receive by clicking ‘Find hidden government subsidies’ in the All tab of the Toss app and entering simple information such as address and occupation. Toss plans to increase user convenience by classifying categories into employment, medical care, housing, education, social welfare, and others.
Currently, you can check about 300 benefits and 600 local government support project benefits on the Toss app. Toss plans to expand the number of verifiable benefits to more than 6,000 by the end of the year.
Next year, we plan to provide not only central government benefits, but also benefits provided by local governments and public institutions. Additionally, a function has been added that allows users to check not only their own benefits but also the benefits of their household members at once.
A Toss official said, “In line with the purpose of Subsidy 24, which is to make people’s lives better, we will help connect more users with government benefits so that no one misses out on government subsidies. “You will be able to receive a wide range of benefits depending on your situation,” he said.
