The companies and business owners eligible for support are as follows:
– National, local governments, and public institutions are excluded from support.
– Certain industries specified in Article 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Special Act on Human Resources Support for Small and Medium Enterprises are excluded from support.
– Employers whose names are being made public due to unpaid wages are also excluded from support.
– The weekly working hours of employees employed for more than 6 months and whose weekly working hours exceed 35 hours prior to the start of working hour reduction can be reduced from 15 hours to 30 hours.
– Employees must apply for reduced working hours based on their own needs, such as caring for family members, preparing for retirement, caring for themselves, or studying, and the employer must allow this.
– Working hours can be reduced for at least one month. You must subscribe to the four major insurance policies and the weekly working hours after conversion must be between 15 and 30 hours.
– If there is a work attendance record 15 minutes before the work start time or a work leave record 15 minutes after the work time, it is considered that the prescribed working hours have been exceeded.
– Attendance management must be managed through electronic and mechanical methods such as fingerprint recognition and electronic cards.
– Restrictions on overtime and compliance with specified working hours are required.
– You can apply within 12 months from the month following the month in which the prescribed working hours were reduced.
– The number of people supported is limited to 30% of the number of insured people as of the end of the previous year. If the number of insured people is less than 10, the maximum number of people supported is 3. However, it cannot exceed 30 people.
– 200,000 won per month (flat rate) is paid per worker.
– This applies if the wage reduction compensation (employer compensation amount) paid by the employer to workers with reduced working hours is more than 200,000 won per month.
