When only one side of the iPhone or iPad earphone is heard, try solving it in the settings.

Find Accessibility near the bottom of the Settings screen. When you enter Accessibility, you can set Audio Effects.
As shown in the picture below, go to Settings-Accessibility-Audio, set the balance to the center, connect earphones and listen to the sound, and you can see that both sides are heard equally. It’s a really simple method, but there are times when it’s set without knowing, so if you can’t hear one side of the earphone, please check this function first.
