1. Launch the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device. Then proceed to log in to your account.
2. Afterwards, select My Profile at the bottom and click the three-line icon at the top.
3. When a pop-up window appears at the bottom, click the Settings menu. Afterwards, select Help on the settings screen.
4. Then, when you are moved to the customer center screen, enter “delete” under How can we help you and then search.
5. Then, a frequently asked questions post titled ‘How do I delete my Instagram account’ will appear and click on it.
6. On the next screen, click on the Delete Account text to delete your Instagram account.
7. On the Delete Account screen, select the reason you want to delete your account. (Privacy issues, problems starting up, content I want to delete, too much content and distraction, too many ads, etc.)
8. After entering your password and pressing the delete button, you will be given a 30-day grace period to delete your account, and deletion will proceed after 30 days.

3. Go to the Instagram withdrawal link page.
4. On the Delete screen, select the reason you want to delete and enter your password. Then, click the delete button to complete deleting and withdrawing your Instagram account.
If you wish to cancel your account after deleting it, you can log in again before the deletion date to maintain your account. However, please note that cancellation will not be possible if you log in after the deletion date (30 days).
Although there is no exact information from Instagram, you cannot use the same user name during the period when your personal information is deleted. After the deletion is complete, please try signing up again with the same user name.
