◎ Long-term parking lot reviews
This was my first time using Incheon Airport’s long-term parking lot. In the meantime, I used to travel comfortably by airport limousine, but the airport bus has disappeared. It seemed difficult to take the subway with luggage, so I looked into the long-term parking lot at Incheon Airport Passenger Terminal 1.
In the past, there were so many people using the airport that the parking lot seemed to always be full, but now there is plenty of space.
In the future, as overseas travel becomes more active, parking will become more difficult again, but then the airport bus will run again, right?
You can check the number of available parking spaces in real time by searching for “Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Long-Term Parking Lot” in the search bar of the portal site. I searched every day while preparing for my trip, but they were never full. If you’re nervous, you can reserve parking, but since it’s further away, I don’t think it’s necessary.
I searched for the P1 long-term parking lot at Incheon Airport Passenger Terminal 1 on Naver and departed. At the time of departure, I confirmed that the parking tower on the P1 east side was available for 8 cars and the P1 long-term parking lot was available for 80 cars. When I arrived, I was embarrassed because there was no parking space. As you enter area 10, there is no place to park, so much so that you have to double park.
I was regretting that I had driven there for no reason, so I looked around as I passed numbers 9 and 8, and there was a space in parking lot 5. I found out later that there was a shuttle bus stop in front of areas 10, 3, and 8, so I even double-parked around it. If you go to areas 5 and 7, you will be further away from the shuttle bus, but there will be seats.
caution. When entering the parking lot, please be careful as there are separate long-term and short-term parking lots. If you enter incorrectly, you will have to turn around.
1. Go on foot
Since we had time to spare, we walked, dragging one suitcase at a time. Park in area 5 of the P1 long-term parking lot, look at the parking tower, and go straight to the left of the P1 east parking tower. You will see a signpost.
You can enter this building, but entering does not mean you have arrived. If you enter here, you will reach the Incheon Airport subway station and continue walking for about 10 minutes to reach the departure hall of Incheon Airport. It may vary depending on the location of the long-term parking lot, but I think it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the departure hall. (It might be faster if there was no carrier)
2. Use shuttle bus
The shuttle bus runs from 04:30 to 24:00, so if you arrive early in the morning, you will have to walk. The service interval is every 18 minutes and the travel time is 18 minutes round trip, taking about 10 minutes to the airport.
Please refer to the shuttle bus schedule. (Source. Incheon Airport)

※ Long-term parking for more than 1 day is cheaper.
If a person eligible for a discount pays the regular rate due to insufficient documentation, a post-exemption refund is possible upon submission of relevant documents within 30 days (including weekends and public holidays), and a departure receipt is required when applying for a refund.
When parking for 3 nights and 4 days at Incheon Airport’s long-term parking lot, a daily rate is charged every 24 hours and an hourly rate is charged for the remaining time. If the remaining time exceeds the one-day parking fee, it is automatically reflected in the one-day parking fee.
This was my first time using a long-term parking lot. By using a compact car, I received a 50% discount on tolls and parking fees. If you have a Hi-Pass, you can pay as you pass without having to pay for parking. Perhaps because it’s a compact car, the difference between the airport bus and parking fees wasn’t as big as I thought, and it’s so comfortable that I don’t even think about the cost.
The downside is that the parking tower is indoors, which is nice, but you have to be lucky to park here, so if it’s your favorite car, you have to worry about having to leave it outside for several days with the car blocked off.
The parking lot will soon be full and you will no longer be able to use it, but if there is space in the parking lot, I recommend going by car.
