As the 2024 spring flower blooming period was announced, we have compiled a schedule of special spring flower and cherry blossom festivals held around the country in time. Gwangyang Plum Festival announces the beginning of spring. It will be held for 10 days from March 8th to 17th under the slogan
Starting with this year’s Gwangyang Plum Blossom Festival, it is expected that visitors will be able to enjoy not only viewing flowers, but also various programs such as a 2-day and 1-night program and walking on the ice road of the Seomjingang River. A unique point is that for the first time since the event, a fee-based event was attempted, and admission tickets cost 5,000 won. The entire entrance ticket will be refunded as a festival gift certificate, providing differentiated killer content to visitors.

A train slowly coming in among the fluttering cherry blossoms. It is a spectacle that can only be seen at the Jinhae Gunhang Festival in spring.
The highlight of spring and cherry blossom festivals, the 2024 Jinhae Gunhang Festival will be held from March 23 to April 1. The opening event begins at 6pm on March 22nd.
Every month, when cherry blossoms bloom, the cherry blossom road on Yunjung-ro in front of the National Assembly Building in Yeouido becomes crowded with people. According to the Yeongdeungpo Cultural Foundation, the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival is expected to be held this year from March 27th to 31st.
Starting in late March, when the entire Seokchon Lake turns pink, people gather one by one to enjoy the spring day at Seokchon Lake. According to Songpa-gu Office officials, this year’s Seokchon Lake Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from March 27th to 31st.

Daegu E-World Cherry Blossom Festival is said to have the fastest cherry blossoms in the country, and you can also enjoy nighttime cherry blossoms on the largest scale in the country. You can enjoy spring with a rain of flowers falling from the cherry blossom trees, which are three times more numerous than those in Yunjung-ro, Yeouido.
Daegu E-World Blossom Picnic (E-World Cherry Blossom Festival) starts on March 16.

In Hwagae, the border between Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do, there is a cherry blossom road lined up as long as 10 miles. It is also called the “wedding road” because it is said that if lovers walk together holding hands, they will live together for 100 years.
The Hwagae Market Cherry Blossom Festival, held in the Hadong Simni Cherry Blossom Road area near Hwagae Market, will be held from March 22nd to March 24th this year.
Gurye is home to the largest cornelian cherry colony in the country. There are a variety of programs available, including performances and experiences.
The yellow-colored Cornus officinalis flower festival, which embroiders the entire village, is held in the Jirisan hot spring tourist site and Sansuyu colony village in Sangdong-myeon, Gurye.

The Cornus officinalis Flower Festival is also held in Icheon, an hour away from Seoul. It is not as well known as Gurye’s Cornus officinalis Festival, so there are fewer people, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of yellow flower fields as much as Gurye.

The Azalea Festival is held on Ganghwa Island, which is also considered one of the three major azalea colonies. It is a representative spring festival visited by 430,000 people every year, and you can enjoy the azaleas in full bloom along the hiking trails of Mt. Goryeo. According to Ganghwa-gun officials, the 2024 Goryeo Mountain Azalea Festival is scheduled to be held from April 6 to 14.
