How to use Kakao Taxi
To use Kakao Taxi, you must first download and install the Kakao T app. You can sign up for membership with a Kakao Account, so there is no major difficulty in preparing to use it.

How to call Kakao Taxi
After installing the Kakao T app, you can select your departure point and destination. The departure point is set to your current location based on your GPS location. Just set the destination by entering the address or area and you can check the estimated fare for each type of taxi.
Kakao Taxi Types
There are five types of Kakao Taxi: Venti, Blue, Black, Regular Call, and Deluxe. We are currently running a direct call beta service.

Venti: Kakao T Venti is a large 11-seat shared taxi. Kakao T Venti offers wider seats and trunk space than regular taxis. Up to 5 people can ride, and wheelchairs for the disabled are also available.
Blue: Kakao T Blue is a franchise taxi service operated by Kakao Mobility. You can use salaried drivers who have completed formal training, and the dispatch success rate is high.
Black: This is Kakao T’s premium taxi service and does not bear the Kakao Taxi mark. We provide comfortable and safe transportation services to our customers using luxury sedan vehicles. It is good for VIP business or airport buyer business trip service, etc.
General Call: This is a service that allows you to call a regular taxi driver, not a Kakao T member taxi. Based on your departure point, the closest taxi will be called and it will be the cheapest.
Exemplary: Kakao Exemplary Taxi is a premium taxi service operated by taxi drivers with more than 5 years of accident-free experience. Therefore, you can experience a very comfortable and pleasant ride and safe driving service.
Kakao Taxi payment method
You can choose automatic payment or direct payment by registering your payment method with Kakao Taxi. Automatic payment is usually convenient, but if you catch a taxi for them, you must choose deferred payment.

Setting up automatic payment for Kakao T payment method
For automatic payment, run the Kakao T app and select Kakao T Points, credit/debit card, mobile phone, or PayPal payment under My Information → Manage Payment Method.
Direct payment
To pay directly, you must call a regular taxi. Call a regular taxi, select payment method, change to on-site payment, and pay later when you arrive at the destination. Since it is a postpaid payment, both cash and cards are accepted.
