장애인활동지원사 자격증 Requirements for obtaining qualifications as a disabled activity supporter and how to complete training

장애인활동지원사 자격증In the meantime, I have been posting information on obtaining qualifications as an activity supporter for the disabled (activity assistant), but since there seems to have been no detailed article on how to obtain qualifications, I decided to organize them today.

Disabled activity support workers are paid by the government when they visit the homes of disabled people to assist them in their daily lives and take care of them. It can be seen as similar to a visiting caregiver who takes care of an inconvenient elderly person.

At first, it was also known as an activity assistant for the disabled, but in 2019, the name was unified and called an activity supporter for the disabled.

Anyone over the age of 18 in Korea can become an activity supporter. Please note that there is no age limit for nursing care workers.

In order to work as an activity support person, you do not have to take an exam, but you must complete training and receive field training at a designated activity support training institution.

Completion of the training requires a total of 40 hours of standard coursework.
If you receive it in 8 hours over 5 days, it will take a week.
After completing the training, 10 hours of field training must be completed.

Certificate holders can complete 32 hours of specialized courses.
If you receive 8 hours each, it will take 4 days.
Professional course classes also require completion of 10 hours of field training.

Certificate holders are those who have participated in government care projects for more than 360 hours in the past year, such as nursing care workers, social workers, nurses (assistants), child care workers, or domestic care assistants.

There used to be free education, but now it is gone. The standard course is 150,000 won, and the professional course is 120,000 won. The training fee for all activity supporter training institutions is the same.

Activity support training institutions can be found in order of proximity to home at Law Angel Sitter, a site specializing in care workers.

Separately from completing training, job hunting activities must be carried out directly. If you make a request to a designated activity support organization, such as a welfare center for the disabled, a match will be made. It may happen right away, or you may have to wait.

The four major insurances are mandatory, and severance pay can be received after one year.

In principle, disability activity support companies do not provide family care benefits. However, it may be possible in cases such as books and wallpaper with few activity support organizations, cases where it is difficult for external activity support staff to take care of them due to the risk of infectious diseases, or cases of natural disasters.
