💡 What are the conditions for receiving employment maintenance subsidies?
In a business that requires employment adjustment due to worsening business conditions, if the employee’s job is protected through suspension or leave as shown below instead of firing the employee, the employee can receive employment maintenance subsidies.
💡 How much is the employment maintenance subsidy?
It varies depending on the industry, but supports up to 70,000 won per day, for a total of 180 days per year.
If you pay suspension allowance or leave allowance while your business is closed or employees are granted leave, you can receive support for a portion of that allowance.
In the case of unpaid leave or unpaid leave, workers can receive support of approximately 50% of their wages, which is subject to review during this process.
