구글 2단계 인증 설정 해제 Google (google), Google Gmail 2-step verification and how to turn it off

구글 2단계 인증 설정 해제As IT technology such as the Internet develops and interconnectivity increases, the importance of information protection is growing.

You can easily log in to an account such as mail or social media by entering your ID and password on your computer or mobile phone.
When this log-in record appears on a computer or smartphone that you do not use frequently, going through the process of verifying your identity is called two-factor authentication.

Today, I will explain how to disable 2-step verification and 2-step verification of Google mail.

Google is an American leading Internet search engine company, founded in 1998.
It has emerged as a search site used by people around the world with excellent search capabilities and a unique revenue model.

In addition to search for documents and images, Google provides mail, maps, web programs, video sharing, and mobile operating systems.
In 2015, it became a subsidiary of Alphabet, a holding company founded by two Google founders, Page and Brin.

We are currently serving search engines, Gmail, Google Earth, Google Books, YouTube, Chrome and Android.
It is the world’s largest Internet multinational company with services that everyone has heard of or used often.

When it comes to search engines, Google has a consistently large number of users.
Looking at the global search engine share (digital insight data) until last year, Google had 92.54%, Bing 2.44%, Yahoo 1.64%, Baidu 1.08%, etc., and Korea’s Naver accounted for only 0.07%.

In terms of search engine rankings in Korea, according to data market announcements, Naver ranks first with around 60%, Google ranks second with around 20%, Daum ranks third with around 7%, Zoom ranks fourth with around 0.8%, and Nate ranks fifth.

The important point here is that Naver recorded more than 70% in the past, but the share is gradually decreasing, and Google is taking it, and the more serious part is that Google is overwhelmingly higher than Naver or Daum in quality search.
Naver and Daum, which are domestic portals, seem to be a reason to be nervous.

Shall we find out how to verify Google or Google Gmail 2-step information authentication?

Go to Google and log in.
Then click on your account in the top right corner, then click on ‘Manage Google Account’.

In Google account management, select the ‘Security’ tab on the left.
When I look at my security tab, I see a message saying that a serious security issue has been found.

It came out that there was a leaked password, so I changed the password one by one.
For this reason, it seems that two-step information authentication is required.

If you scroll down a little from the security tab of your Google account, you will see a menu called ‘2-Step Verification’.
There is an indication that two-step verification is not currently enabled, click here.

Protect your account with 2-Step Verification to prevent account hijacking.
If you log in with your ID and password on a device other than your computer or mobile phone, this is the process of verifying your identity by entering a unique authentication code on your mobile phone.

Click ‘Get Started’

Enter your password again for 2-Step Verification and click ‘Next’

The mobile phone in your name to receive the verification code message is displayed.
If the device is not displayed, log in after accessing Google on the smartphone.

Click ‘Continue’

Message sent (left) and message displayed on mobile phone (right)

As shown on the left, a message will be sent to your cell phone under your name, and when a message is displayed on the mobile phone as shown on the right, select ‘Yes’.

As a final step, a code will be sent to your phone number.
Click ‘Send’

Enter the verification code received on your mobile phone.

Do you want to enable two-factor authentication?
Click ‘Settings’

Then, when you log in from another device in the final Google or Gmail, it will tell you that you have set up two-step verification.

If you want to disable 2-Step Verification, you can select ‘Disable’ on the right. If possible, be sure to set 2-Step Verification to prevent identity theft.
