Childcare teachers work at national and public daycare centers, Beomin daycare centers, private daycare centers, playrooms, etc.

To obtain a level 2 childcare teacher certification, you must graduate by completing childcare-related courses and credits.
You must obtain a level 3 childcare teacher qualification and have at least 2 years of childcare work experience.
A total of 17 subjects are required to obtain a level 2 child care teacher certification.
It consists of 8 online subjects + 8 face-to-face subjects + 1 practical subject (240 hours).
The Credit Bank System allows students to complete 3 credits per subject, up to 8 subjects (24 credits) per semester, and up to 14 subjects (42 credits) per year.
College and university graduates can take the 3-semester course.
High school graduates can obtain a level 2 childcare teacher certification in 3 to 4 semesters.
Online classes can be viewed on computers and mobile phones.

The lecture lasts approximately 1 hour to 1.5 hours for each subject.
The attendance period is two weeks from the start of the lecture, and attendance is acknowledged as long as you attend within the period.
Face-to-face classes are held offline, once per subject, on weekends from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This is a subject that requires you to take classes face-to-face with the professor.
Although you are guaranteed breaks and lunch times, you have to go offline and listen to the lectures in person.
You must be careful about attendance because if you do not attend, you will receive a failing grade.
Also, if the training center for face-to-face subjects is far from home, it is difficult to take classes.
Currently, due to the coronavirus, face-to-face classes have been replaced with non-face-to-face classes through YouTube or ZOOM.
*As the face-to-face subject has been changed to a non-face-to-face subject, there is an advantage in that it can be acquired more easily during the course.
The field training for the level 2 childcare teacher certification is a 6-week course, 8 hours a day for a total of 240 hours.
Practice can only be conducted on weekdays and can be conducted after coordinating the time with the practice center.
You must complete an orientation at the training school before training.
Orientation is held 2 to 5 times a weekend, and provides guidance on field training, work, and how to write a diary.
High school graduates must obtain an associate’s degree to be issued a level 2 child care teacher certificate.
By completing the courses, you will be able to obtain a Bachelor of Child and Family Studies degree.
It is a 4 semester course and takes approximately 2 years.
By obtaining a certificate and a self-study degree, the course can be shortened to one semester and progress to one and a half years.
Since college and university graduates already have a degree, they can apply for a degree award after completing only the child care courses and then have a certificate issued.
It takes a minimum period of three semesters and one and a half years.
