This is a film that was released when I was 20, so I watch it again when I have nothing else to watch. I also like actress Choi Kang-hee, and the feeling of watching it in my early 20s and later is really different. If I watched it for fun when I was young, it’s a pretty realistic movie now. In the end, it’s about Mina accepting her father’s words. The gap between contract workers and regular workers… I didn’t know anything at the time, but now I see it as something that doesn’t seem like someone else’s story. The images that contrast with the warm children’s images that remind me of the rainbow colors of the past… It makes me look back on my past while feeling bitter. 3. To My Thirty
Twenty-nine, too young to give up, too old to challenge, and ‘soon’ thirty that I can neither welcome nor push away. A fast-paced career, pretty pretty looks, a decent job, a stable relationship. But, ‘thirty’ is the ‘end’ for women? No, I’m fine! Why are you guys X?!… Wait, but am I really fine? 29+1 Two very different women standing between coolness and passion, will our soon-to-come thirties be okay?
Don’t be depressed because the front seats have changed, this is a movie that tells you what to do.
I stopped watching this movie just 2-3 years ago, but now that I’m approaching my thirties, I’ve been looking for it in a hurry… How cunning…ㅋㅋ ㅋㅋㅋ
But it’s different again… Then and now… Really… It seems to have well-explained the worries that people of that age can have, human relationships, social life, and love, and it was a great movie because it gave me another starting point, a driving force of passion called challenge, rather than the consolation that it’s okay.
