KEPCO Energy Cashback is a system implemented by Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) that provides cashback for the amount of electricity saved through energy conservation.
Applicants for KEPCO Energy Cashback must have the same address as the application address on their resident registration. (Customers who use household electricity)
However, the application for apartment households will be abolished after November 2023.
Starting from 2024, apartment complexes will be excluded from the application.
Those who live in general apartments, not complexes, can apply.
Applications for KEPCO Energy Cashback can be made at any time throughout the year. The cashback calculated each month will be reflected in the next month’s electricity bill, allowing you to receive discounts.
▶ If you save 3% or more compared to the average of the same month in the previous two years, you will be paid 30-100 won per 1kWh for each savings rate section with a savings rate limit of 30%
Payment example) Based on a customer whose average usage for the previous two years is 332kWh
The cashback calculated each month will be reflected in the next month’s electricity bill
If the applicant’s address changes during the cashback calculation period, the cashback payment will be excluded and you must reapply based on the changed address to re-apply for the cashback.
